Worn Threads extends its hours

Thanks to some new volunteers, Worn Threads thrift store has been able to extend its hours. New hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursdays 2-4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon.

Worn Threads is non-profit and staffed entirely by volunteers. They accept donations of new and gently used clothing for children, men and women, and accessories, as well as household linens and a small assortment of small household items.

Worn Threads is open to the public and everything is for sale at very reasonable prices. Worn Threads also works with other community agencies to assist people in need of clothing. Agencies such as ACTS and the Red Cross can provide their clients with vouchers to get clothing at no cost.

All sales proceeds above expenses are donated to ACTS.
